Our products include rich media such as audio, video, gifs and more, include automated two-way communication, and are made available for single purchase or as ongoing subscriptions.

What are we hiring for?

Authoritive is looking to hire a Senior Product Manager who can direct a cohesive vision and direction for the company’s new self-service offering. Over the past several years, the company’s catalog of programs and creators has grown significantly, and Authoritive is taking a key step to scale by opening up our technology platform to individual creators, professional consultants, and enterprise organizations interested in building messaging-based programs for consumers and teams.

The Senior Product Manager will be responsible for driving the ideation, strategy, and development of this new product. Authoritive needs someone who can operate at the intersection of business strategy, product, and technology in order to define product features, set and measure key metrics, drive engagement and revenue, and achieve product-market fit. In this role, you will focus on understanding our customers (individual creators & subject matter experts, enterprise clients), pushing the limits on what this product is able to accomplish, identifying growth and expansion areas, prioritizing solutions to problems, and rapidly improving the end-user experience.

The Senior Product Manager will be hands-on across key areas, including user experience, user story development, product development, and analytics. The ideal candidate will be energized by the opportunity to pioneer new solutions and technologies for creators and organizations to share their expertise with a wider audience. Being collaborative, creative, thoughtful, and passionate about our products is a must.

As Senior Product Manager, you will work closely with the VP of Product and the CEO in creating a vision for building a world-class experience by articulating the vision, strategy, roadmap, and deliverables. You will partner with cross-functional stakeholders to champion initiatives that have a significant impact on the direction of the company and impact sales and usage. This role is ideal for someone who has demonstrated success in delivering consistent growth through end-to-end product management.


  • Own the product strategy and execution for the company’s new self-service platform, designed to empower and support our creators at each step of the creator lifecycle—from the moment they first hear about Authoritive to publishing their 10th program on our platform.
  • Define and analyze metrics that inform the success of the products.
  • Work in a data-informed way, leveraging both qualitative and quantitative research.
  • Drive product delivery in line with predefined targets/ KPIs.
  • Work closely with technical and non-technical cross-functional teams to define technical requirements, scope, schedule, and resourcing to drive successful outcomes.
  • Manage relationships with key stakeholders, build consensus, drive issues to closure, help identify risks/mitigations and communicate project status.
  • Distill business requirements into clear and concise user stories and facilitate verbal and written discussion with the engineering team.
  • Gather and manage product feedback through surveys, user testing, analytics tools, and A/B testing.
  • Be a champion of the MVP concept, distilling the product down to what is desirable, viable, and feasible.
  • Demonstrate empathy for our creators and their audiences, expertly balancing the needs of both to create delightful product experiences.


  • 5+ years of experience as a product manager or product owner.
  • Experience optimizing and managing large-scale features, products, or programs that have a direct impact on users, usage, and revenue growth.
  • Strong documentation, presentation, and communication skills, particularly implemented in a cross-functional role.
  • Experience performing product-oriented quantitative and statistical analysis, communicating results and insights to cross-functional partners.
  • Experience collaborating with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
  • In-depth understanding or experience of software development and testing methodologies; familiar with machine learning and natural language processing.
  • Experience managing complex research projects from ideation to completion.
  • A track record launching consumer-facing products, ideally in the digital publishing space.
  • Knowledge of user-generated content platforms is a plus.

Approximate compensation

$85,000-$125,000, commensurate with experience.
